• WFAN Moving To FM Next Month

    Per Richard Sandomir -

    WFAN will move to FM 101.9 in mid-Nov. as per CBS station purchase. `FAN will stay at 660 AM until new format is chosen.

      Mike F saying it now on the radio. Confirmed the station number on FM and said that it will be early November.

      Strange that they keep saying it will be AM and FM at the same time. That’s probably going away in time, I guess…

      That sucks, because 101.9 was the only radio station on the dial that played halfway good music in NYC.

      Also — and this is going to sound weird — talk radio doesn’t sound good in FM.
