…and the Reds still lost to the Pirates. Amazing.
In this game in 1962 vs the Mets, Willie Mays hit a game tying HR in the 8th, and a game winning HR in the 10th. Not quite the same…

In this game in 1970, Jim Hickman hit a game tying two run HR in the 7th with the Cubs down by 2, and a game-winning two run HR in the 9th with the Cubs down by 1:

And in this game in 1991, Robbie Alomar hit a game tying solo HR in the botttom of the 9th, and another in the bottom of the 11th.
But the Jays lost in the 12th:

Did last night actually happen?
Raul Ibanez. Dude may have saved the Yankee season. Singlehandedly. Amazing.
From a historical perspective, it may rank right up there as one of the greatest single game postseason performances in Yankee history – up there with Babe, Reggie, & Don Larsen.
