• 2 Great Reasons Why Is A-Rod Benched This Post-Season

    Here’s two great reasons:

Via Jerry Crasnick: From @ESPNStatsInfo: In 20 postseason games since 2009, A-Rod is hitting .164 with no HRs and .459 OPS.

And, via Buster Olney: From ESPN Stats/Info: Alex Rodriguez ranks 170th among 173 major-leaguers in OPS (.458) vs. right-handers since coming off the DL Sept. 3.

Pretty sure General Joe has this data in his binder too…

Bad week for Joe. His binder went from most famous binder in the world to a distant #2 to Mitt Romney’s binder full of women.

Think there’s any chance Arod tested positive and MLB and the Yanks agreed it wouldn’t be announced until after their PS as long as he’s not in the lineup?

      @ redbug:
Nothing would surprise me, but I’d have a hard time believing that someone would keep a story like that under wraps.

      @ Raf:

Well, probably true since Levine would know. But still, you have to wonder why Arod? I mean, I’m not a fan but others are stinking up the joint as much as he has. Could it really be his stupidity w/ the attractive women?

      @ redbug:
      Why?

“I don’t know if it’s (because) I’m good-looking. I’m biracial. I make the most money. I play on the most popular team …”

      - Alex Rodriguez :P

Jeez, 10 mins after I offer a reason why Arod isn’t slotted in, he comes up to bat! LOL
