   I’ve always saw it that way, especially considering that the Giants played in Yankee Stadium and the Jets played at Shea.

   That’s exactly how it is and exactly how it should be. The two lousy, loser expansion teams and the two crown jewels of their respective sports.

   Well, ever since the salary cap in football, the NFL playoffs have become just as big a crapshoot as post-WildCard MLB playoffs.

   The Giants going 9-7 and going on to win a title is proof of that.
   20 years ago, that Giants team would’ve been destroyed by the Cowboy or 49er leviathan squads.

   And I say that as a Giant fan since 1970 (and I became a Giant fan because (why else?) they played their home games in YANKEE Stadium).

   100% agree. I haven’t been to a football game in years (save for college football with some buddies that are Notre Dame and Rutgers alums). My TV, couch, and fridge are all better than the Meadowlands.
