B.J. Upton To The Braves

Do they realize he’s not that much better than the guy they once had and got rid of?

At least Upton can play CF.
So underrated at first that he’s now overrated. Not a Bossman junior fan at all.

When he’s not jaking it out there…
Why’d they pick Upton over Bourn? Bourn’s a year older but he’s a better player in my book.
I don’t know much about Bourn but I know Upton’s makeup sucks. The guy has the most apathetic vibe, kinda like JD Drew.

Bourn is also represented by Scott Boras, so his asking price may have been too high.

The ironic thing is that by overpaying Upton, they only served to inflate Bourn’s price even more.
@ MJ Recanati:
Part of their master plan? Inflate his price so it scares everyone off and it bottoms out and he signs on the cheap?
@ Raf:
LOL, that would be something, wouldn’t it?
I’m sure we both agree that’s not the likeliest outcome but, wow, if the Braves had a LF/CF/RF alignment of Upton/Bourn/Heyward that would be a pretty spectacular outfield in terms of speed, power, and athleticism.
