    On December 3rd of last year, the Red Sox and Napoli agreed on a three-year contract. But, to date, it’s yet to be signed. At some point, both sides need to walk away from this, no?

      Sure; legalese, 2nd & 3rd opinions, two holidays, contract negotiations & re-negotiations. Talks haven’t broken down yet, so I would think that there’s still interest on either side.

      Napoli gets $5MM plus incentives for the one-year deal.

      Could be a bargain for the Sox.

      That’s a really good deal for Boston. Can’t field a position worth shit but he can hit well enough to more than justify 450+ AB’s at C, DH and 1B and rebuild his market value for next year.
