So, which ones do you think won’t be back in New York after 2013? Which ones will you miss? Who will you be happy to see go? And, which ones do you think will have a huge “walk year” in 2013 and which ones do you think will choke under the pressure of playing for a big payday?
I think there’s little chance of Jeter not coming back. And, I fully suspect Cano to test free agency after this season. Maybe Logan too.
Pettitte and Rivera should retire after 2013. And, maybe Kuroda goes back to Japan after this year.
As far as Aardsma and Youkilis, who cares?
That leaves Hughes, Granderson and Chamberlain.
I would not be shocked to see all three leave New York after 2013. But, I have no idea how they will perform this season. Each of them could go either way…big walk year or totally bust. At this point, I suspect that they will all lean more towards bust. But, I could be easily wrong here.
