Good deal for Atlanta with upside for great deal if Upton returns to 2011 form. An average deal for Arizona with upside for good deal if Delgado and Ahmed develop into something more than depth-level talent.
Does this deal make Mr. Upton, the boys’ daddy, a power broker in Atlanta now? Does the team have to kiss his ass every time he barks? After all, he is the “Boss Man” Sr.
@ Steve L.:
LOL, somehow I doubt that Mr. Upton has any clout in Atlanta. They don’t let the inmates run the asylum there the way they do in, say, Boston…
Great deal for Atlanta. Upton is going to be a monster for years to come.
Yanks better have some kind of plan to compete next year because this kid could have been part of the answer without a doubt.

If Arizona was so desperate for infield help, we obviously didn’t match up since we have no infielders at the high level of the minors (or surplus infielders on the 25-man roster) that we could give up.
It’s a damn shame too…would’ve been nice to have Upton on board.
