I guess anything is possible. Brian Cashman got Louise Meanwell locked up, after all.

I suspect this will turn out as well as their attempt to void Giambi’s contract, but as you said, anything’s possible.
I don’t think you need to be a fortune teller to see where the Yankee/ AROD relationship is headed. Any promotional value the various record chases would have had are now zero. The Yankees will explore all avenues possible but ultimately, when the smoke clears one way or the other AROD will be gone. Maybe, maybe his career is over, but whatever else happens it won’t happen in a Yankee uniform. Even if the team has to pay every penny owed they will pay because the need to get AROD out of the Yankee uniform is really all that now matters.

I wouldn’t bet the ranch on that.
Of course, the Yankees could always take up a $114 million collection to send Alex on his way……
Oh, wait, they already do…..it’s called season tickets.
Honestly, after digging through some of this stuff, there is a lot of room to doubt the validity of these allegations, other than this guy may have been involved with Melky Cabrera, who apparently did not pay up what he owed?
