If I ran a team, I would offer Hank Manning a job somewhere in my organization.

He’s been running a camp for kids for almost a decade now and he’s been doing it within 300 miles of six MLB clubs. I gotta figure that he would’ve been hired by now if it was going to happen for him.
Video didn’t post the first time. I just added it again.

I live/grew up in Rutherford and never heard of this guy. And I played Pace in college while he was there and no idea he was from Rutherford… Everything he is saying in the video was the exact opposite i was taught growing up… I learned everything he was saying when I got to college and was a pitcher… Now the past couple of years I’ve been coaching HS i’ve been trying to teach the kids this way of hitting.
Yup, I agree with everything in the video. There are some other things he didn’t say and/or point out or maybe stress enough. But, it was a decent job. That’s the thing with hitting – there’s so much to be done right and there’s so many different ways to say it and stress it.
I was a bit surprised at the number of baseball academies around here. I’ve got two within 5 min of each other;
