    On the bright side, it could be worse. He didn’t say since 1990.

      The title of this post would be a little bit more honest if it included “Opening Day”, since that is what Szymborski is writing about.

      Actually I changed my mind, I don’t agree that this would be the most honest. There’s just no telling what will happen after Opening Day. All we know is that this portends to be the worst Opening Day lineup the Yankees have put forth since 1991. Thereafter, it’s anyone’s guess.

      I say let them play Opening Day and see what happens instead of putting a fork in them 5 weeks before the season starts.
