I watched this game last night. Wang left a ton of pitches up in the zone that the aussie hitters couldn’t do anything with (but majoy league hitterss would absolutely crush).

Wang DID throw some nice looking sinkers, and since it’s the beginning of ST technically I’ll overlook the fact that his sinker was sitting 84-86 mph (according to the telecast). Overall, he looked a lot better last night than any of his starts the last 2 years (as a Wang fan, I’ve watched em all).

      @ Steve L.:
Judging by everyones reaction to Wang’s 6 scoreless, it appears we are the only ones to have actually seen him pitch and not just looked at a box score :)

      @ Corey:
That’s the problem when you only look at the stats.

Looks like the Yanks fell for the stats.

Hey, someone had to replace Kei Igawa down on the farm…

      @ Steve L.:
As long as he’s in AAA, he isn’t hurting the big league club..It’s not like he’s going to be making Igawa money down there. It’s not that bad of a deal (as long as it’s confirmed to be a MiL deal) with an extremely small chance to be positive.
