Did I really see  that, behind home plate, during the game IN BALTIMORE, last night?

Talk about taking it to the Orioles twice, once in the game and once on the ballpark advertising signage…

I was a little amazed too, until I saw the green screen in the replay and realized it was placed there digitally. That is, only the viewers at home watching the YES network actually saw the Yankees ads on that space behind home plate.

Orioles viewers probably saw something completely different…

      It’s actually pretty brilliant.

Hey there Pete! Great to see you.

Yup. I saw the green screen on the replay too.

I wonder if YES has to split any of that money with the O’s since it was their green screen?

      @ Steve L.:

I’m assuming that the Oriole’s own that “Out-Of-Home” unit, so it would make sense that YES is paying some sort of fee for the space to the O’s.

I just waiting for the Yankees (and YES) to start green screening in some fans at Yankee Stadium…

What happened was last night was a national ESPN game, and if you’ve noticed from Sunday night games, the local signage is turned off.

Nothing wrong with the local broadcasts projecting the ads on screen. Hey, if they can put an imaginary yellow first down mark on a football field, anything is possible.
