      I hate to say it, and I hope to God it doesn’t happen, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Cano’s name on the list. Weren’t A-Rod, Melky, and Cano the self declared “three amigos”?

      The silver lining would be that Cano would cost much, much less to retain after this season.

      I have no doubt in my mind, albeit based on ZERO fact, that Cano is using something. That said, there are many reports saying that he’s not going to get busted in this thing. That said, I wish this A-Rod thing would be a lesson for the Yankees and then they let Cano walk rather than lock him up long and major money.

      One has nothing to do with the other. The reason why the Rodriguez contract is a problem isn’t the PED issue, it’s the fact that the Yankees signed a player exiting his prime to a contrac that captured the entirety of his decline.

      That’s the lesson here vis-a-vis Rodriguez and Cano, not PED use.
