    The story.

How many pitchers in baseball history have played for the Yankees,  Nationals and Blue Jays in their career?  Is Wanger the first?

Graeme Lloyd pitched for Toronto, the Yanks, and Expos

Esteban Loaiza also pitched for all three clubs.

      I was thinking Nationals only.

Then Loaiza is the only one I could find. He pitched for the Nats the first year in Washington 2005.

      @ Rich M:
Good work. Bummer for Wang, not being the first LOL

Bummer for us too! I was hoping we’d get to see CMW in Pinstripes once again. He was one of my favorites.

      My thoughts exactly.

Some say that he’s still not what he was…and, at best, he’s a back of the rotation guy now. In any event, I give the guy credit for hanging in there. He’s 33 and the last time he was effective in the majors was 2008. This may be his last shot.

      @ Steve L.:
I don’t think he can last in the back of the rotation. Not from what I saw in the WBC (I saw all of his starts). Don’t be fooled by the numbers, they can be deceiving.

      @ Corey:
His recent numbers haven’t been anything to write home about either. If he washes out with the Jays, I’m sure another team will give him a shot.

      @ Raf:
He may end up as a late tryout in Yanks camp next spring with 2-3 other reclamation projects.

It’s possible; heck Freddy Garcia still keeps finding work. I do wish CMW the best of luck with the Jays

I wish Wang the best. Until that injury, he was the best starter the Yanks had during those years, w/ a bright future ahead of him. He’s one of my favorites.
