      What’s lost in the clip is that it’s coach-pitch with an adult laying them in there.

      Still, it’s impressive that a 6 or 7 year old could get enough lift to hit the ball 130 feet. Most 8 and 9-year olds can’t hit it that far, even off meatball pitching.

      I pitched in coach pitch for 4 seasons (2 sons went through 7/8 year old league) and I NEVER saw anyone on any team hit a ball like that kid. Most were lucky to get in past the infield in the air. This is truly amazing.

      Ditto. I did it in 2010-2012. Once in a while, someone may have cranked it for ~100 feet or so. But, not at age 6/7. And, not for 130+ feet. Further, not for five ABs in a row!

      Also, note the homerun trot on the kid. Clearly, this is not his first rodeo. Dude’s gone yard before.
