• Who Will Trade For David Price?

According to everyone and his brother, it’s a given that David Price gets traded this off-season.

Figure the Rays not to trade him to someone in the A.L. East.

    So, where does he go?

This is just a gut feeling…but…I think it will be the Dodgers or the Tigers.

I don’t know if the Tigers or Dodgers have the minor league talent necessary to pull off a trade for David Price. If James Shields yielded Wil Myers, it would take more than that to get the better pitcher in a trade.

What about Cito Culver for Price?

Tigers can offer Nick Castellanos and Drew Smyly.

Dodgers can offer Joc Pederson, Zach Lee and Corey Seager.

      @ Steve L.:
      Hope not, Smyly is good.

Castellanos and Smyly might do it. Pederson and Lee are not really top prospects, though Seager is close.

On the other hand, the Tigers don’t have a rotation problem, but their lineup might be a batter short. If they win it all, they might not even bother, preferring to hang out to Castellanos another 6 years.
