      LOL! Steve Lombardi from NJ pitching in the majors in probably 6 years from now would be great. If he makes it to the show, you have to go to his MLB debut (wherever it is).

      LOL. I just want him to make it to ONE game…so I can see my name on Baseball-Reference!

      That said, the odds are against him. He missed this season due to injury and he’s not very tall for a RHP.

      That’s always the amazing thing for me: Here’s a kid who is one of the better ball players in the entire state of NJ at this time. Good enough to make Seton Hall. And, even for him, the odds of making the major leagues are so not in his favor. Those who do make the show are the rare, gifted, and lucky!

      In any event, he’s on my radar now – thanks to my 9-year old son who found the YouTube clip – and I will be rooting for him, all the way, until he hangs them up. And, I hope he never gives up chasing the dream.
