      Everyone makes it a foregone conclusion that this guy won’t come back. You never know, outliers exist. For a guy whose shoulder capsule was hanging on by a thread of worse while he pitched in ST, he still hit 93 on the gun. I’m excited to see if he can come back.

      Don’t confuse my words for me thinking that he will come back. I’m just saying there is a chance it could happen and I’m going to root for it.

      According to Cashman, he has a high ceiling… even when he’s not in a courtroom.

      I talked to some org guys in April that said Pineda had worked very hard, had recovered faster than expected, and that his velocity was good enough that he could have pitched by the middle of last season. The Yankees were very conservative with him.

      I should get a read on the situation ~ mid-Jan.

      Good to hear #15. There was some concern about his work ethic as I recall, so good to hear that has either improved or was unfounded.
