      I didn’t catch all of Pinson’s career, but he was more of a thumper, relative to his era. Johnny was a more dynamic player. That better OBP and speed translated into 302 more runs scored over his career. I’d take that over the 20 HR gap… by a lot. On the other side of the game, Pinson could actually throw a baseball. Hell, I’ve got a better arm than Johnny, who always threw like he was rushed back from rotator cuff surgery. Check out the gap in outfield assists. Glaring.
