Stephen Drew & Kendrys Morales

Are they going to sit the first half of the season? See:
Scott Boras, agent for free-agent 1B Kendrys Morales (Mariners) and SS Stephen Drew (Red Sox), said both players are willing to wait until after the draft to sign with a team since there would not be any draft compensation linked to them.
I wonder if they would be willing to play for some Indy team, until June, just to stay in shape and showcase themselves?
For the life of me, I can’t understand why the Yankees don’t sign Drew… Are they waiting for the Rockies to “salary-dump” Tulo into their laps? I still think it’s a better than even shot that they sign Drew, and depending on what they think about the “Arms of Spring”, Santana is > (say) 25% to wind-up in the Bronx….
@ KPOcala:
Drew is probably holding out for a “reasonable” offer. Boras messed up, miscalculated the market. It happens.
As for the article above;

@ KPOcala:
I agree. I’d grab him in a heartbeat if they could get a N. Cruz type of deal. Even 2 years.
