      Right after that the inning started to get out of control. It was hard to watch.

      100% agree. Nova should not have let up any runs that inning.

      There was a play going to his left he should have made yesterday as well. There was at least one other play last week, don’t remember which game. He has no range, the pitchers are going to have to get use to it, positioning is going to be critical,and he is going to need a caddy for late innings, Mantle style.

      Nova was also saved by the double play ball in Houston last week. “Super Nova” needs a psychiatrist more than he needs a pitching coach or better infield defense; perhaps Dr. Charlotte Murphy is accepting new patients…

      I thought “double play” off the bat. Looks to me like he got there and just missed it, perhaps because he was diving for a ball when shouldn’t have had to leave his feet.

      Playing Young to pull is not such a bad idea.

      He needs to make that play. Still, Nova looked shaky and easy to hit.
