Of course, the evil person in me had the words “Luis Polonia” first come to mind after the nice person in me thought it was a touching moment. I know, I know…please excuse me. Just having a bad day…

Completely innocent and sweet – shame that your mind went there.

Louise Meanwell, on the other hand, wasn’t necessarily having a bad day when she first met the New York Yankees Sr. Vice President and General Manager at a hotel in Boston in 2006 and thought, “What a perv.”

Seriously, what is wrong with you?
What in hell does this have to do with this thread.

      @ Evan3457:
I don’t know… With the subjects of: 1. the New York Yankees in general; and 2. a former baseball player less than 5′ 8″ in height and involved in matters relating to sexual impropriety (Polonia) in particular, the thought of Brian Cashman came to mind for some reason.

Ms. Meanwell was quoted as saying, “I was 29 at the time, and I thought, ‘What a perv,’” in the article, and on the subject of her introduction to, or meeting with, the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the New York Yankees, and highest-paid executive in M.L.B., in 2006; she was not quoted as saying, “I was having a bad day at the time, and I thought, ‘What a perv.’” That’s my point. You make points too, from time-to-time…
