…and that’s why Posada is a “not quite” for the Hall of Fame.

I’ll take 14th most valuable of all time.

I’m glad he’said being honored tomorrow. I loved his intensity.

Oh, yeah, no doubt. Jorge deserved to be in Monument Park with the rest of the core of that team.

Curious why you would use a cumulative stat like WAR, but limit results with an unrelated cumulative stat like games played? Just for fun, here are some pretty valuable players who played significant time as Catchers (with Higher WAR than Burgess) that missed your list-
      HOF Craig Biggio 65.1 (428g as C, yeah I know… it’s a stretch! haha)
HOF Joe Torre 57.6 (903 games as C, most at any pos & more than Tenace!)
HOF Mickey Cochrane 52.1 (1482 games, do you hate him or what?)
      Brian Downing 51.4 (675g as C)
      HOF Buck Ewing 47.7
      Joe Mauer 47.7 (1425 games & counting)
      HOF Deacon White 45.5
      HOF Roger Bresnahan 41.0
      Charlie Bennett 39.1
      B.J. Surhoff 34.3 (704g as C)
      HOF Roy Campanella 34.2

And with VMart’s dismal year, Russell Martin has passed him (32.9-32.6)and Yadier Molina and Buster Posey are closing in fast.

Oh yeah, some guy named Thurman Munson should be on that list too-
      45.9 WAR in 1423 games…
