There’s only two SS in all of baseball history with 12+ seasons where they qualified for the batting title and had an OPS+ of 110 or better: Derek Jeter and Honus Wagner #justsaying

What a difference a year makes, huh?

This is just the 17th time in Yankees history that the Yankees have won 21 of their first 30 games of the season.  And, it’s just the 5th time since 1959!  Enjoy it!  You don’t see this very often…not even in Yankeeland.

Yankees Are The Best Team In Baseball

    Posted by on May 6th, 2017 · Comments (3)

Numbers don’t lie – although the home cooking sure helps. Question is: Can they keep it up? It’s not crazy at this stage to say they could still end up as an 86-win team. Pineda and Severino need to keep it up. And, Adam Warren can’t keep going the way he’s been throwing. Also, I know that Castro is due to crash soon. He always does.

    Lynn, Ichiro…And Judge?

    Posted by on May 4th, 2017 · Comments (0)

Yes, we’re talking simultaneously winning the Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year.

Well, sure there’s still 85% of the season to be played. So, yeah, there’s that. But, if the season ended today, it could happen.
