    Thank You, Nick Swisher

If Swisher had not signed with the Indians as a free agent, then the Yankees wouldn’t have the draft pick that they used to take Aaron Judge.

It sort of makes up for the fact that the Angels took Mike Trout with the Yankees pick after they signed Mark Teixeira.

The Yankees drafted him BEFORE Aaron Judge. Just saying…

Terrible. When the greatest day of your life becomes a living nightmare. My heart aches for this young man. I hope he has a full recovery and is back in the bigs next year.

    25-25

That’s the Yankees record in their last 50 games. I think we may be lucky if they can match that, at best, over the next 50 games.

Then again, that’s pretty much what everyone expected this season – about 84 to 87 wins. So, we really can’t complain.

    A Season Of Two Streaks

    Posted by on June 21st, 2017 · Comments (2)

Yankees have lost their last 7 games in a row. From April 9th through the 17th, they won 8 games in a row.

Outside of those two streaks, they are 30-23 this season.

They still might win 90 games this season. But, it’s not looking good.

    Signing Manny Machado

Between the financial commitment and his temperament, the team that signs him will regret it…in an A-Rod fashion. Pass.

    6 In A Row?

    That’s not good.

Of course, if they take 7 of their next 10, all will be forgiven.

Dude is killing it. OPS is .888 in 199 PA.

That was the Yankees record in April this year. Since then, they are 23-19.

Love this team and most of the things that are happening; but, the water is seeking it’s own level. It’s coming folks.

The Yankees have the 4th best record in baseball and the second best record in the American League.

There’s still a chance that they end up an 87-win team. But, it has been an amazing start to the season. And, it’s not chump change…we’re talking a third of the season.

As is often the case, August will be a test. If they are still in a good position come September 1st, then it’s time to get some serious expectations.

Like every Japanese import pitcher, the bloom is starting to come off the rose. Hiroki Kuroda was probably the only exception.

Why are the Yankees sitting on uniform #25?

All these years, 21, I get it. But, now their doing it with 25?

    Nobody wants it?
