He seems like a nice guy and I do hope that he pitches better.

But, there’s always the case that he may just be another failed Cashman pitching acquisition along the lines of Michael Pineda, A.J. Burnett, Javy Vazquez, Kei Igawa, Nathan Eovaldi, Hideki Irabu, Jeff Weaver, Carl Pavano, Denny Neagle, Kevin Brown, Esteban Loaiza, etc.

      Yep, could be.
The good news is that after this year, they can just let him go.
The bad news is that A’s may be benefiting from the trade 10 years from now.

I never thought that he was a legit ace, but I thought he’d be a solid starter.
It’s very tough making the jump from the Coliseum to the new Stadium, which is to today’s AL what Fenway Park used to be to the AL of the Bronx Zoo Yankee champs, and the jump from pitching in the AL West to pitching in the AL East.

Well, long way to go in the season. Let’s see if he can turns things around and start pitching well.

So, I guess he can stop blaming Sanchez for his lousy pitching.

Well he went and had his best start as a Yankee yesterday so let’s hope he can keep it up. 3 out of his last 4 starts have been either good or great. Yes it was against the Royals yesterday but those same hitters gave CC & Sevy fits.
