With the advance of the information age, baseball’s become much more of a year round sport.

But there’s nothing like the games. And baseball is unlike any other sport, because they play (almost) every day over a six month period. Football is once a week and basketball & hockey never play more than two days in a row. Play ball!

Gotta say, I live for the weekend. I’m on the treadmill of life during the week from Monday AM to Friday PM. And, I hate that. But, the weekends are my little oasis from the grind. They’re jewels to me. There are only 52 weekends in the year and I consider each one to be a pecious gift, to be used to the fulliest, and not be wasted.

But, this weekend, I’ve found myself wishing it away…because I’m so looking forward to this (Sunday night) game.

It’s really funny. I dred Sunday nights, usually, like a little kid in school season. But, I really wanted this one to come quick.
