    The next Mike Trout?

By the way, whatever happened to Mason Williams?

Buxton tore up the Midwest League, didn’t he? Dunno if he’s the next Trout though, frankly, no one expected Trout to be what he was last year. That’s just another way of saying that Buxton has a chance to be better than what was projected for Trout.

As for Mason Williams, he’s recovering after a horrible month of May and is back to looking like the player that was the farm team’s player of the year in 2012.

Williams is having a good June. Don’t know what it means long-term, except maybe he’s decided to play ball again.

Byron Buxton was the 2nd pick in the draft. The Yanks would have to had lost 100 games in 2011 to have gotten a chance to draft him.

Mason Williams was a 4th round draft pick, who, nevertheless has been rated in the top 100 prospects in MLB by both Baseball America and MLB.com for two years now, and the top 50 this off-season.
