Remember: Spahn and Sain; then pray for rain?

For the Yankees this year, it’s: Tanaka; then pray for a Tsunami.

@ Steve L.:At least the team is “more athletic” and strikes a lot of player out, right? πŸ˜‰

How did you know Nova was going to pitch a good game today?

I just looked it up, and the Yankees “staph” is actually #1 in the AL for allowing walks and #3 in K’s. Maybe they are going to have a “correction”? Maybe…..

Three straight series wins against 3 good teams. Outfighting each one of them at least once in the bullpen. Won all 5 close games. They need 3 solid starters to get back in this. Tanaka strugging, Eovaldi up and down, Severino hurt.

Still 16-20 is a lot better than 9-17. 7 game trip against 2 struggling teams. We shall see.

It would help if the Sox slowed down a bit. Or the O’s. Or somebody.

@ KPOcala:That should have read #1 in allowing the LEAST number of walks. K/W is always something to keep an eye on….

Yanks pitchers have shown excellent control but lousy command so far this year.
