7-3, can’t ask for more than that, right? And, it’s against good teams (this year): Red Sox, Royals and White Sox.

What’s the secret? Well, the bullpen has been a huge help. And, in their last 10 games, the Yankees have allowed ZERO unearned runs. So, the defense has a big hand here as well. Lastly, believe it or not, Chase Headley has been a huge part of it. In this run, his OPS is close to 1.000, and, that’s amazing. Ditto Aaron Hicks. Throw in a bunch of walks for Gardner, a lot of RBI for McCann and Didi, and some homers from Beltran.

Can they keep it up? Time will tell.

Well, the D’backs are struggling but they have Robbie Ray (a lefty, which type the Yanks have all sorts of trouble hitting), Greinke (off to a terrible start, but he’s going to get going some time) and Miller (ditto) vs. the Yanks.

Meanwhile, the Yanks are sending Green (¯\_(ツ)_/¯), Pineda (Will he ever get out of a 1st inning?) and Eovaldi.

I’m hoping for 2 out of 3. But I’m not counting on it.

Oh, and look for slumping Goldschmidtt to get hot all of a sudden.

I’m just hoping they can get back to .500 before the end of May. There will still be more than 100 games left to play. Then they will be relevant again.
